USENIX Security Symposium 2025

Event Details

SPHERE Research Infrastructure is excited to participate in the 34th USENIX Security Symposium, taking place in Seattle, Washington, on August 13-15, 2025. The USENIX Security Symposium brings together researchers, practitioners, system programmers, and others interested in the latest advances in the security and privacy of computer systems and networks.

SPHERE will be represented at the symposium by Community Outreach Director David Balenson to engage with the cybersecurity research community, learn about evolving infrastructure needs, and share how SPHERE supports innovative, reproducible experimentation in security and privacy research.

Designed to accelerate scientific discovery, SPHERE enables researchers to explore topics such as industrial control system (ICS) security, Internet of Things (IoT) behavior and privacy, AI-driven threat detection, and more—across a range of realistic, flexible experimental environments. SPHERE enables reproducible cybersecurity experimentation that accelerates scientific progress.
