Event Details

SPHERE Research Infrastructure was represented at NSF’s Community Infrastructure for Research in CISE (CIRC) and Major Research Instrumentation (CNS-MRI) PI Meeting on March 10-11, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina. This Principal Investigator (PI) meeting brought together NSF Principal Investigators, Program Directors, and research community members to share and discuss projects funded through the CIRC and CNS-MRI programs.

Principal Investigator Jelena Mirkovic and Community Outreach Director David Balenson participated in breakout sessions, sharing SPHERE’s progress as a national research testbed supporting reproducible cybersecurity and privacy experimentation. They engaged with fellow infrastructure project teams to exchange insights, highlight SPHERE’s user-driven capabilities, and explore opportunities for collaboration across the broader research infrastructure ecosystem.
